David Ross Watson, 60, of Krum, TX, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. He was born March 17, 1952 in Denton to David Riley and Wilma Wynema (Tubbs) Watson. He was married to Evon Teague on September 7, 1974 in Denton. He was a graduate of Denton High School and was retired from the Denton Fire Department after thirty-five years of service; he also worked for McNeill's Appliance.
He is survived by his wife, Evon Watson of Krum; daughter, Sherrill Cartwright of Sanger; sons, Kenneth Wayne Watson and John Ross Watson, both of Krum; sister, Judy Cohagen of Arlington; two grandchildren, Kenneth Wayne Watson, Jr and Rosston Wayne Cartwright; and many other extended family members.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
