David Aaron Rackley, 70, of Justin TX, was called home Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Dave was born on December 7, 1951 in Deming, NM to Raymond A. and Mamie D. Rackley. Dave was married to his best friend Mary Rackley. He was a proud alumni of Bel Air High School in El Paso TX. After High School Dave, a true "jack of all trades," worked in the plastic injection molding industry, was a plumber, and a welder. After retiring, he spent most of his time at the lake fishing, and enjoy the beauty and peace of the water. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends, and hearing the sound of laughter.
Dave is survived by his wife, Mary Rackley; daughter & son-in-law Jeannie & Joseph Moncada; daughters by marriage, Candy Bryant, Sandy Bryant, Kimberly Bryant; son, Darrel Rackley; son by marriage Michael Farmer; sister & brother-in-law Linda & Ed Elsey; nephew David Thompson; grandchildren, Jacob Moncada, Aber Moncada, Brianna Melero & husband JR Melero, Christian Rackley; grandchildren by marriage, Michael Farmer III, Cherokee Farmer, Maggie Farmer, Emily Holecek, Angelina Bryant, Austin Villegas, Nathan McVey, Makayla Medley, Jackson White; great-grandchildren, Lianey Melero, Mia Torres, Sloan Melero; and Dave and Mary's fur baby, Sophie.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St., Denton. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery, Krum.
