David Lopez passed away August 20, 2012. He was born on October 12, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas to Felipe and Elidia Lopez. He worked for ACME Brick for 28 years, while also working for Presbyterian Hospital for 10 years. He liked music and enjoyed going gambling. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 6-8pm at Denton Funeral Home, 120 S Carroll Blvd. A service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00am in the Denton Funeral Home Chapel. David is preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Elidia Lopez. Survivors include wife, Alene Lopez of Denton; sons Lawrence David Lopez of Denton, Trevor Woodruff of MN, and Robert Tuttle of Sanger; daughters, Maryanne Bridges of Lewisville, Sara Lopez of Sanger, Tara Lopez of Denton, and Brandie Carter of Denton; brothers, Danny Lopez of Stanton, Eddie Gavia of Denton, and Joe Manual Porras of Big Spring; sisters, Alice Lopez of Denton, and Estella Villa of Odessa; 9 grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and friends.
