David Henry Hudspeth
Funeral Services for David Henry Hudspeth, 24, of Ponder, are set for 2pm Monday, April 4, 2011 at The Village Church on 2101 Justin Road in Flower Mound, TX. Burial will follow at the Valley View Cemetery located at I-35 W Frontage Rd, Valley View, TX. The visitation will be held at the Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son funeral home at 705 N. Locust Denton, TX 76201 on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm.

David Henry Hudspeth was born in Gainesville, TX on July 30, 1986. David is survived by his wife, Ellyse Hudspeth; parents, Don and Linda Hudspeth; older brother, Luke and his wife, Kimberly Hudspeth; younger brother, John Hudspeth and younger sisters, Sarah Beth and Leah Hudspeth; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Ann Burks and their sons, William and Christian Burks; grandparents, Charlene Ritchey, May and Glenn Heibert and Bill and Carol Burks.

David grew up in Denton, TX and graduated from Denton Calvary Academy in 2005 where he excelled in both academics and athletics. He went on to play football at Okalahoma State University and married Ellyse Burks in December of 2006. In more recent years, David grew into an excellent businessman where he helped the family business, Soil Express, grow and excel.

David and Ellyse lived in Ponder where they enjoyed riding horses and spending time with family and friends. David had a passion for life where Wrangler jeans and cowboy boots always seemed to accompany his one in a million smile. He was a man of great Godly character who was admired by many. Once you met David, you never forgot him and his memory will be carried on in the lives of those who loved and knew him.
