David Lynn Hale of Ponder, TX passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 in Denton. He was born on August 5, 1961 in Denton, TX to Nolan and Dora (Howard) Hale. He was married to Beverly Kesting.

David was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, Nascar fan, and he loved western movies. Although he was a man of little words, you could always get him going if you mentioned politics. He had a huge loving heart and cared about everyone. He always had a smile on his face and a shake of the head to give you if you did something silly. David was loved and will be greatly missed by all.



A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 10am-12pm. A funeral service will be following the visitation at 1pm at Jackson Cemetery in Krum. Pastor Randy Snow will officiate.



Pallbearers are Jackie Hale, Curtis Hale, Robert Hale, Jody Hilliard, Josh Hilliard, Wesley Webb, Randy Oliver, and Bill Pirkle.



Survivors include his wife, Beverly J. Hale; mother, Dora L. Hora; son, Jason B. Hale; step-son, Doug Sherman; daughter, Ashley R. Cole; brother, Kenneth L. Hale and wife, Shannon; and Lonnie D. Hale and wife, Brandi; sister, Patti J. Malik and husband, Saeed, and Lisa K. Grant; grandchildren, Alex and Daylen Cole, and Tori and Dani Sherman; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.



Preceded in death by father, Nolan C. Hale.
