Darlene June Culpepper

1952-2021

We praise God that Darlene is in our future in heaven. Nana joined her savior Jesus and the love of her life Papa in Eternity.

Darlene June Culpeper, 69, of Denton died on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, in Denton.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27th at 10:00 AM. in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton.

Darlene was born June 11, 1952, in Denton to Howard and Jeannette Cote Turner. She graduated from Denton High School. She loved crafting and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Danny Culpepper.

Darlene is survived by sons Jason Culpepper and wife, Meradith, of Decatur and Clifton Culpepper and wife, Janet, of Wheeler; daughter Courtney Kerlick and husband, Stan, of Cypress; sisters Maxine Wallis of Bedford and Charlene Deaton and husband, Fulton, of Farmers Branch; sister-in-law Debra Galyon and husband Linden, of Denton; grandchildren Elizabeth and Sarah Culpepper of Decatur, Preston, Ethan, and Collin Culpepper of Kelso, Wash., and Camryn and Zachary Kerlick of Cypress.

They are not lost who find the light of sun and stars and God.
