Danny Dillon of Pilot Point, Texas, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, cousin, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 15, 2025 at the age of 72. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved father, cousin, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and release him into the arms of his Heavenly Father.
Born in Crosbyton, Texas, to Johnnie Mae Argo and Whitman Daniel Dillon. Danny lived a full life marked by his kindness, dedication to his family, and unwavering love for those closest to him.
He was a proud father to his daughter Dana Slovak and her husband Jimmy of Aubrey, Texas, and a devoted brother to Irene Krueger and her husband Frank of Valley View, Texas, Faye Wilson and her husband Mike of Keller, Texas, John White and his wife Anita of Waxahachie, Texas, and Wayne Ray Dillon and wife Rose of Pottsboro, Texas. Danny's life was also enriched by his grandchildren, Haley Slovak of Denton, Texas, and Cameron Slovak of Aubrey, Texas, as well as his great-grandchildren, Luna Perez and Ezekiel Wetselline of Denton, Texas.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Mae Argo and Whitman Daniel Dillon, son Ralph Dillon, sister Brenda Ledford, brothers Whitman Daniel Dillon Jr., and Billie Ralph Dillon.
Danny's warm spirit extended beyond immediate family, touching the hearts of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His home was always open, his heart always generous, and his smile a constant source of comfort to those around him.
He enjoyed a quiet life, but his presence was always felt in the lives of his family and friends. Whether through a shared laugh, a thoughtful gesture, or his unwavering support, Danny's legacy is one of love, compassion, and strength.
Danny's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who have offered their support, prayers, and kind words during this difficult time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to remember and honor the memory of a man who made an impact on so many lives.
Danny Dillon will forever be remembered as a loving father, cherished sibling, proud grandfather, and a friend whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
