Daniel Frank Wood, 71, of Denton, met our Holy Trinity, Three in One, on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.

Mr. Wood was born on July 25, 1949 in Washington, DC to Winfield E. "Bing" and Betty Jean (Starrette) Wood. He was married to Cynthia "Cindy" Gail Guthrie Wood on June 5, 1980 in Houston. He earned a Master's degree in Industrial Technology. He taught high school in Pasadena and Denton.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Cindy of Denton; sons, Jordan Daniel Wood and his wife Amanda of Tioga, Nathan Wood of Denton; sister, Barbetta Jones of Silver Spring, MD; brother, Matthew Wood of Texas; grandchildren: Zacchaeus, Franklynn, Jackson, and Daisy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wood.

Dan volunteered at Twice as Nice and Cindy at the clinic benefitting Woman to Woman Pregnancy Resource Center in Denton. Donations can be made to W2W at www.dentonprc.org or his favorite group: Bible Study Fellowship International at www.bsfinternational.org .

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 1, 2021 in the chapel of Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton.
