Damiana (Ann) Gonzales Garrett, of Denton, TX passed away peacefully at Presbyterian Hospital, Denton Texas, surrounded by her family on December 9, 2015. She was 77 years old.
Damiana is survived by her children, Jose Moreno Medina, Diana Pyke, Carolina Marroquin all of Denton TX and Ricardo Medina of Joplin MO. Preceded in death by Ramon Medina of Denton TX.
Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and her pet, BabyGirl.
Damiana was born on August 7th, 1938 in Yorktown, TX to Benito and Lydia Gonzales and along with 9 siblings; Benito (Junior) Gonzalez Jr, Daniel Gonzales and Ray Gonzales all of Lubbock TX, Antonia Magana of Brownfield, TX, Louisa Olson of Peoria AZ, Rebecca Flores and Rachel Crevas of Corpus Christi TX,; Preceded in death are her Sisters Maria Leal and Lilli Gomez, both of Lubbock.
A Visitation will take place on December 12 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Funeral Service to immediately follow at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, Denton TX, 705 N. Locust. All are welcome to attend her Celebration of Life. Burial Services will be Monday December 14 at 10am at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr. Denton TX.
