In Loving Memory of

Dale Redfearn

Born October 7, 1941 on Redfearn Rd, Aubrey TX

Passed July 30, 2022 in his home on Redfearn Rd

At the age of 80 years, 9 months and 23 days

Dale served his country 2 years in the army branch of the military, met and married Betty Merle Gregston after basic training where they lived

together at the US missile base in Duncanville, TX 2 years.

His first daughter Charlotte was born 10 days before discharge.

He moved his family to Denton, TX employed by the Denton fire department, then to Lewisville for 9 1/2 years.

Dale began working for General Motors in 1967, retiring at the ripe old age of 52.

Beverly was born in 1971 while still in Lewisville, Dale was ready to return to his birth place.  He built a home on the family farm on Redfearn rd.  Dale had no desire to leave his home where he enjoyed owning Quarter and miniature horses, cattle and at some time or another every sort of animal he could house.

Dale had a passion for buying and restoring vintage tractors, a yearly vegetable garden, harvesting and bailing hay every hot summer.

Dale's gift was service and giving.  He could be seen working at most every community event, Aubrey Play Day, a horse riders' competition, took part of multiple fundraisers and family benefit dinners.  Dale was agreeable to pitch in and help where needed in the community, such as the Aubrey Peanut festival, serving one year as chief organizer of the parade that featured "Farming Peanuts".  Every year he was thrilled to enter the parade showing off his restored tractors or trailers he built.  He served on the Belew cemetery board, he was a member of the Mustang Baptist Church and took part of or the lead of several renovation projects at Mustang Baptist church, including the Mustang community historical store.  Dale was there for anyone in need if asked, especially where his wife and daughters were concerned.  There was no doubt that daddy would come when his girls were in trouble.

As a member of The Pilot Point Lodge, Dale was honored to be installed as a Worshipful Master.  Also a member of the Eastern Star where he served as the Worthy Patron alongside his wife Betty the Worthy Matron.  That was a special time where they were blessed with many friends, raised money for community needs and just a whole lot of fun besides.  On top of Freemasonry, Dale was also a member of the Scottish Rites, Red hat.

Dale is survived by his sister Ruth Doherty, brothers Howard, Bobby and Joe Redfearn.  Proceeding him in the heavenly realm are his Mother and Father, three siblings, Glen, Betty and a baby brother.

One of Dales greatest joys of his heart were the grandchildren.  Charlotte's two boys Zack and Matt Doss and sweet Halie Jo.  He was crazy about Charlotte's grand babies too, little boy Riley, big guy Aiden adorable Zelda and baby Magnus  Beverly blessed Dale with two more delightful granddaughters, Sara and Emie and her son, Robbie.  Two daughters, five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Community was important to Dale, but no doubt his Home and Family was his world.  As down right feisty and bossy as all get out at times, love was something his family never doubted and he was surly loved and will be greatly missed.   Dale is not gone, he is impatiently waiting on his family to arrive.
