Dale Ray Mullen, 63, born September 11, 1953, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2017, while surrounded by his family, on March 29th, 2017 at 8:41am at Denton Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, TX, at the age of 63 years old. Dale is survived by his mother Wanetta Mullen of Denton, his loving wife Jackie of Denton and their 3 children Casey Dale and his wife Eileen of Sanger, Jaclyn Brett of Denton, and Ryan Elaine of Prosper; his grandchildren Keston Ray and Braden Alexander; his siblings Russell of Dallas, Karen of Denton, and Ronald of Denton. He is preceded in death by his father Chester Mullen of Denton.
Dale was an accomplished Master Auto Technician who taught sunday school, he was an avid classic car enthusiast, he enjoyed the study of history and trivia, writing and playing music, riding motorcycles, and above all, spending time with his family. He was a dedicated and active member of Freedom Life Church in Sanger and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Denton.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday April 2nd, 2017 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Denton Funeral home located at 120 S. Carroll Blvd. Denton, TX.
His funeral will be on Monday April 3rd at 10:00am at Freedom Life Church located at 1609 Duck Creek Rd., Sanger TX. Burial will be at Pilot Point Community Cemetery.
Pastor Gary Sweatman will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend the ceremony in celebration of Dale's life. Condolences can be sent to the Mullen family address.
