Dale Foster, age 47, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 31, 2006, in Lewisville, Texas.

He was born June 15, 1959, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Laddie and Judy Westfall Foster. Dale was a graduate of William Henry Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Indiana. He received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University and his MBA from the University of Dallas. He married Marta Clifton on April 7, 1993, in Irving, Texas.

Dale was a volunteer in the Flower Mound Youth Sports Association for several years. Working with the kids on his teams and helping them learn the great game of baseball brought Dale extraordinary joy. Dale's family expresses gratitude to all of these boys and to their parents for enriching his life.

Dale is survived by his wife, Marta; daughter, Haley Richardson of Austin; son, Finn Foster of Flower Mound; parents, Laddie and Judy Foster of Crossville, Tennessee; brother, Michael Foster of Monticello, Indiana, and sister, Kimberley Pinto of West Lafayette, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. Interment will follow in Flower Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The family request memorial contributions to be made to the Salvation Army or to Christian Community Action in Lewisville.
