Curtis George, 79 of Sanger,TX, passed away on January 16, 2013 at his home. Curtis was born November 10, 1933 in Sanger, TX, the son of John and Lucille Irwin George. Curtis married Margie Ann Slovak on January 1, 1952. Curtis retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents. He is survived by two daughters; Carla Scott of Sanger and Elaine Polley of Pilot Point. Two sons Ricky George (Connie) of Sanger; and Jack George of Sanger. Two sisters, Ruthie Bryson of Sanger and Margaret Jordan of Valley View. Two brothers, Kenneth and Billy George both of Sanger. Seventeen grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday January 18 from 6-8 pm at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home 705 N. Locust Denton, TX. A funeral service will be 2:00pm on Saturday January 19, 2013 at the Gribble Springs Baptist Church on F.M. 2164 with burial to follow in the Gribble Springs Cemetery.
