Coy K. Butler, born Jan 27, 1936 in Washington County, Arkansas, passed away December 3, 2018 in Krum, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Butler; parents Jesse Butler and Avis Murrie and siblings, Norman Butler, Gene Butler, Adean Hensley, Lora Faye Williams and Vernon Butler and great granddaughter, Emma Newman. He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis and husband Donald Newman of Krum; sister, Etta Frazelle of Rogers, OArkansas, and brother Gary Butler of Westville, OK; grandchildren, Greg and Shannon Newman of Denton, Regina and Chad Davis of Krum and Michelle and Michael McDonald of Krum; 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Denton Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00AM at Denton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Jackson Cemetery in Krum. Arrangements are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
