Obituary

Cora Stinson, 96, of Denton, went home to be with her Jesus Monday April 7, 2008 at her home in Denton.

Mrs. Stinson was born on June 19, 1911 in Ideal, TX to Leander Owen and Annie Elizabeth (Paris) Boney. Cora graduated from high school in Pampa in 1929 and attended Amarillo Business College. She was married to Isaac Ming Stinson on December 8, 1930 in Guymon, OK. She was a homemaker and was church secretary for the First Baptist Church in Muleshoe from 1959 to 1969. She was a member of the Oaks Garden Club and the First Baptist Church in Denton, where she was very active in womens mission groups, bible study class and a visitor in Homebound Ministry.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday April 10, 2008 at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday April 11, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Denton. Rev. Jeff Dooley, Rev. Cliff Feeler and Dr. Wayne Blankenship will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Survivors include her daughters, Cora Lee Daniel of Rowlett, Louise Dean of Denton, Sue Glover of Dallas; sons, Ronald Henry Stinson of San Angelo, Robert Isaac Stinson of Houston; twenty-four grandchildren; fifty-five great grandchildren; thirty-one great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
