Cody Paul Van NessJune 26, 1986-July 25, 2009

Cody was taken home Saturday, July 25, 2009. He was born in Carrollton, Texas and lived his life in The Colony.

He was an accomplished woodworker, avid music fan and an excellent artist. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Barbara Van Ness of The Colony, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Monique and James Hurley of Blythewood, South Carolina; his niece and nephew, Carsyn and Tye Hurley of Blythewood, South Carolina; his grandmother, Ruby Joyce Bass of Carrollton, Texas and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
