Cleatus Merdell "Tex" Coleman, 93, of Collinsville, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2019. Tex was born in Bagwell, TX on December 3, 1925 the son of Terrell Coleman and Virginia Lee Jackson Coleman.  Tex is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Coleman.

Tex is survived by his son Stephen Coleman and wife Claudia of Aubrey, TX; step son Joe Tanner and wife Melissa of Denton; step son Johnny Tanner of Fort Worth; sister Rose Tucker of Collinsville; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday January 24, 2019 at Gateway United Baptist Church in Denton with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Belew Cemetery, Aubrey, TX.
