Obituary
Claudia Mae Moncrief, 96, of Denton, died Saturday May 26, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mrs. Moncrief was born on December 20, 1915 in Stony, TX to Elton E. and May O. (Boydston) Durham. She had worked at Russell's Department Store and Tobin's Drug Store. She was a member of Bethel Temple Church, now Friendship Church.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 Tuesday May 29, 2012 at Roselawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Claudia's home following the funeral service.
Mrs. Moncrief is survived by her, stepsons, Gerald "Jerry" McCombs and his wife Marie of Benbrook, Bill Armstrong of Arizona, Jamie Moncrief and his wife, Susan of Dallas; stepdaughter, Nancy Charlton of Tyler; special friend, Dian Calvert Miller and her husband Larry of Argyle; other family members include: Pat and Judy McCombs, Nancy and Jerry Goolsby, Scott and Robin Boydston, Rodney and Marie Boydston, Geneva Boyston; and a host of neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Denton Humane Society, P.O. Box 1972, Denton, TX 76202.
