IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clark "Skip"
Lindholm
June 1, 1957 – January 18, 2025
Clark ("Skip") A. Lindholm of Sanger, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in hospice care at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas, at the age of 67. Skip was preceded in death by his parents Delwyn and Lois Lindholm and his sister Constance.
Skip will be remembered as loud and proud, outrageously fun and funny, friendly and outgoing. He seemed to know half of Denton or more and they knew him. Denton residents may know of Frenchy's Lawn and Tree Service with their "Orange" trucks and signs displaying community messages, and Skip was featured twice on their large sign in Denton.
Skip loved his cats Puppy and Lone Ranger. Skip would be happy to know his cats are together in a new loving home.
He was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in Denton where one of his most valued accomplishments was completing the Road to Emmaus program which impacted his spiritual life and walk with God in a profound way.
Skip started working in the shoe industry while attending Denton high school. After graduating high school, he opened Skip's Shoe Repair Shop on Malone, and later relocated the business to Elm Street. He was the owner of the business from 1976 to 1993.
After closing the shoe repair business, Skip became an independent contractor providing property management services for over 20 years. Two years ago, Skip retired from the maintenance department at the Denton Independent School District.
Skip received BA and MBA degrees from the University of North Texas.
Skip was proud of his Swedish heritage and took trips to Nebraska where he was born.
He enjoyed cooking, gardening, golfing, fishing, hanging out at the lake and listening to country music. He was a handyman extraordinaire and never knew a challenge he could not figure out. He designed the decorative wood picnic table on his patio.
Skip's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes buried in a plot between his father and grandmother at the Calvary Lutheran Church of Swede Home Cemetery in Stromsburg, Nebraska. The Church will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Goodbye dear friend, may you rest in peace.
