Clarence Raymond Crenshaw Jr. age 81 of Ponder, Texas passed away Thursday September 9, 2010 at his residence in Ponder. He was born January 14, 1929 in Denton to Clarence Raymond Sr. and Ruth Aimsley ( Halbert ) Crenshaw. He married Rutha Mae Rader April 17, 1981 in Roanoke, Texas. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Highland Baptist Church Denton.
Memorial Service will be 4:00 pm Monday September 13, 2010 at Highland Baptist Church 600 Thomas St. Denton, Texas. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Sunday September 12, 2010 at Mulkey-Mason Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home 705 North Locust St. Denton.
Clarence is survived by his wife Rutha of Ponder. Daughters Deborah Lynn Grime of Justin, Texas, Pamela Ruth Hensley of Shreveport, Louisiana, and stepdaughter Oleta Mae Allcock of Ponder.
Sons David Kelton Crenshaw of Carthage, Texas, Gregory Thomas Crenshaw of Breckenridge, Texas, Kevin Ray Crenshaw of Bedford, Texas. Stepson Harold Clinton Allcock, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas and James Denver Allcock of Whitesboro, Texas. Sisters Eva Mae Huggard-Hulsey of Tennessee, Helen Briley of Garland, Texas and Imogene Baland of Saginaw, Texas. Halfsisters Melida, Hilma and Tilla. 36 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Susan Denise Click, sister Katie Benard, brother Kennth Crenshaw and granddaughter Kelley Michelle Craddock.
