Cindy Marie Hellums, 46, of Denton, TX died Friday September 30, 2011 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
> Cindy was born on June 22, 1965 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Michael Dwayne and Clara Marie (McNeal) Smith. She was married to David Hellums on August 19, 1994 in Sanger. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, David Hellums of Sanger; daughters, Amanda Garcia of Denton, Amber Shaw of Denton, Christina Hellums of Denton; son, David Shaw of Denton; mother, Clara Marie Smith of Denton; sisters, Beth Works of Denton, Theresa Salter of Millsap, Kathy Kobylenski of Oklahoma City, OK, Dianna Odom of Stephenville, Linda Odom of Stephenville, Laura Odom of Stephenville; brothers, Sean Smith of Denton, Ernest Odom of Stephenville, William Odom of Stephenville, Robert Odom of Stephenville; ten grandchildren, Isiah Shaw, Michael Shaw, Alia Shaw, Annalyse Myers, Elizabeth Benavides, Robert Garcia, Joseph Garcia, Cayson Houghton, Michael Houghton, Tyler Rumfield.
A visitation will be held at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday October 5, 2011 at Sanger Cemetery. Rev. E.L. (Skip) McNeal will officiate the service.
