Christy Ann Strickland, 41 of Denton, died Wednesday June 15, 2005 at Medical City in Dallas.
Ms. Strickland was born April 12, 1964 in Denton to Donald Ray and Julia Anne (Roberts) Strickland. She was a graduate of Denton High School. She was a member of the Southmont Baptist Church, and was employed as an Administrative Assistant in the BCIS Department of the University of North Texas.
A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, June 17, 2005 at New Hope Baptist Church, with Dr. Larry Reynolds, and Rev. Elmer Cummings, officiating. Burial will follow in the Belew Cemetery in Aubrey. The family will be at the funeral home for visitation from 7 P.M. until 8 P. M. on Thursday, June 16, 2005.
Ms. Strickland is survived by a daughter, Melanie Strickland Ross, of Krum, a son Jake Christopher Strickland, of Denton, her parents Donald R. and Julia A. Strickland, of Little Elm, two sisters Melissa Redfearn, of Aubrey, and Donalee Ledoux, of Amarillo, and two brother David Blake Strickland, of Denton, and Bobby Gene Strickland, of Saginaw. Nine Nieces and Nephews, and four great nieces and nephews.
