Christopher Fred Arrington, 54, of Argyle, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 surrounded by his family at home in Denton.
Chris was born on December 5, 1967 in Denton to Fred and Wanda (Brearley) Arrington. He married Daphne Sampley on July 5th, 2002. He was a member of The Well Community Church in Argyle. He owned and operated University Cleaners until his retirement.
Chris had a deep passion for flying and spending time in his plane, where he could enjoy the creations that his God created. His favorite memories of flying were spent soaring over the city and seeing what painted sunset the Lord had created. Chris had a relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and yearned for others to know him as he did. He was also an enthusiast of scuba diving, which he had studied and was a successful rescue diver.
His greatest earthly achievement was his daughter Chloe LaPage Arrington. She was the light of his life and his love for her was unmatched. He often said, "She is the greatest thing I have ever done, and I am blessed to be chosen to be her daddy." To say he loved her was an understatement.
Chris is survived by his wife, Daphne Arrington of Argyle; daughter, Chloe Arrington of Argyle; mother, Wanda Arrington of Denton; sisters, Karyl Arrington of Denton, Judy Kay Crawford of Sherman He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Arrington and sister, Kathryn Arrington.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 18, 2022 in the chapel of Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton.
