In Loving Memory of Chris Hill

Chris Hill peacefully departed this world surrounded by family on the night of March 4th, 2024, at the age of 57. Chris led a life dedicated to helping others as a passionate physical therapist, notably working for Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation for many years.

Originally from Lubbock, he was the cherished son of Gerald L. Hill and the late Carolyn McCorkle Hill.

Chris is survived by his father, his beloved wife Sheri and their three children, Alex, Kristen, and Nathan. His brother, James Hill, and his wife, Caryn of Fort Worth; his sister, Holly Clark, and her husband, Jonathan of Nacogdoches; his sister in law Debbie Eanes and husband Scott, his brother in law Darren Ross and wife Shantell, his aunt, Kay McCorkle of Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews.

A kind man, a great father, and a wonderful husband, Chris's life was enriched by his passions. He deeply loved literature, exploring the world of words with a keen and curious mind. His love of all things culinary was constant, whether cooking at home or discovering new restaurants. Chris found joy in sharing delicious meals with family and friends, always humorously planning the next feast with a twinkle in his eye and a taste for culinary adventures.

Chris and Sheri met in Lubbock while attending Texas Tech University, and their love story became integral to their journey together. This year they celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary.

Chris graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in finance. He went on to study physical therapy and graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1993. His educational background reflected his commitment to his profession and his desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

His adventurous spirit extended to hunting with the family and enjoying time at the gun range. These shared activities created lasting bonds and precious memories that will be cherished by those who knew him.

May his soul rest in peace, and may the family find comfort in the beautiful memories they shared with him.
