Chase Austin Strickland passed away December 20th, 2024 in Austin, Texas. He was born on January 3rd, 2012, and faced a multitude of health issues, though you could never tell because he was the happiest person you'd ever meet.

Chase was a bright shining light in a sometimes dim world.  He was known for his smile, his hugs that were full of love, and hair bouncing excitement that was infectious.  He had a love for life like no other, always smiling, silly, and he always had a plan.  He loved all animals, including bugs, singing, dancing, bright colors and dad jokes.

Chase is survived by his parents Patricia, Joseph, and his brother Sterling, his Grandma Dottie, Grandad Lee, Aunt Charlene, Uncle Kelly, Cousins Michael and Matthew, Uncle Joe, Aunt Tracie, Cousins Amanda, Allison, Amy and Joseph, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Noe, Cousins Gage, Josh and Keeley. He also had a third set of Grandparents Joanie & Sammy Maglitto, Godfather Matt, Godmother Shawnda, Aunt Carmen and Cousin Jacob.

Chase is preceded in death by his Nanny Pat and Papa Jessie.

Visitation to celebrate Chase will be held at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton, TX on December 27, 2024 from 6-8pm and the funeral to celebrate his life at 2:00 pm on December 28, 2024 at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home Chapel, 705 N. Locust St. Denton, TX with subsequent interment at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

All are welcome to attend as everyone was his friend and he never knew a stranger.
