Charles Wayne Reedy, 77, of Whitesboro, Texas, passed peacefully at home surrounded by

family.

He spent his childhood in Denton, Texas before he went on to serve in the Army. After returning

home he met and married the love of his life after a two week courtship. They were married

happily for 57 years.

He made sure to keep his family's lives full of laughter and love. When he

had time, Charles loved to fish and hunt. He was also a member of The Denton Church of God.

Charles was survived by his wife Virginia, his children Terri and Junior Neace, Marla and Scott

Hamilton, Brandi and OJ Stevens, and Chuck and Darlene Reedy. Charles had eleven

grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one on the way. He was also survived by his

brothers Leroy and Richard Reedy.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents RT Reedy, and Eunice and CB Mills, his brothers Mike

and Ronnie, and his grandson Ashton Wade Reedy.

Charles was loved by many and sought to inspire everyone he met to "be good and stay out of

trouble." In these trying times we know he would say, "Don't worry about it, it will be all right

tomorrow."
