Obituary

Charles David Meurer, 58, of Argyle, died Wednesday August 10, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Meurer was born on August 10, 1958 in Jacksboro, TX to Lawrence Arnold and Barbara Jean (Opella) Meurer. He was married to Sandra Kaye (Scott) Meurer on June 11, 2005 in Pilot Point, TX. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club.
Charles had a passion for hunting and especially fishing; he took his family on many fishing trips. He was the Athletic Director in Lindsay, TX for ten years and retired after coaching football and track for Whitesboro ISD. He owned and operated Freedom Green Landscaping.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kaye Meurer of Argyle; mother, Barbara Meurer of Windthorst, TX; daughter, Deanna Miller and her husband Eric of Argyle, TX; son, Mickey Meurer of Lindsay, TX; stepdaughters, Tiffany Eaglin and her husband Adrian of Denton, Amanda Castro and her husband Jason of Argyle; sisters, Cindy Meurer of Austin, TX, Liana Pinter of Pickerington, OH; brothers, Eddie Meurer of Windthorst, TX, Byron Meurer of Windthorst, TX; grandchildren, Bailee, Kenzie, Dayne, Davin, Sydney, Stella, Dalton, Benjamin, Emery, Isaac. Also by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. A memorial Mass will be at 10:30 AM Monday, August 15, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae St., Denton.
