Charles "Bud" Lasseter, was born July 28, 1935 in Nocona, Texas and passed away at the Medical Center of Lewisville on Sunday, May 25, 2008.  Bud worked in the banking industry for 33 years.  First for Texas B ank in Dallas and after moving to Lewisville in 1960 he retired from First City Bank in 1989.  Bud served as the Lion's Club president and Boy Scout Master for many years and enjoyed working with young people, hunting, fishing, camping and had a great love for animals.  Bud is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shelba Baty Lasseter; sister, Melba Reid of Denton; niece, Jana Christy and her husband, Bobby of Lewisville; nephews, David Lasseter and his wife, Tammy of Forney and Michael Lasseter and his wife, Monica of Chicago and numerous great nieces, nephews and friends.  Bud was preceded in death by his parents; father, Truitt Lasseter, mother, Nellie Lasseter Elrod and step-father, Virgil Elrod; Brother, Wayne Lasseter and brother-in-law, Tom Reid. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Wells officiating.  Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Union Cemetery in Freestone.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00P.M..
