Charles Allen Gray, 68, of Plano, died Monday October 25, 2010 at his home in Plano. Mr. Gray was born on October 30, 1941 in Gladewater, TX to John Allen and Sarah Eva (Huffman) Gray. He graduated from Roscoe High School and attended Abilene Christian College.
He was married to Bonnie Linda Cash on January 29, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the West Allen Church of Christ.
Mr. Gray began his career as a Counselor for the Salesmanship Club of Dallas working at the Mineola location for a year. He then began a 30 year career with Sun Oil/Oryx Energy in various positions with the final one as a regulatory representative dealing with the Oil & Gas agencies in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. He retired in 1994.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday October 27, 2010 at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr., Denton, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Gray of Plano; son, Trey Allen Gray of Birmingham, AL; sister, Johnnie Faye Stewart and her husband Bob of Lubbock, TX; many nieces and nephews.
