Charles (Charlie) DeGrand, age 78 of Lewisville, passed away Friday, October 13, 2006,
in Lewisville.
He was born April 17, 1928 in Waxahachie, Texas to Casley and Susie Cornelius DeGrand. He served in the United States Air Force. Charlie married Lillian May Fridrick on May 20, 1950 in Dallas. He worked as a plant supervisor for General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian; sons, Darryl DeGrand and wife, Teresa of Humble, Texas and Darrin DeGrand and wife, Jana of Argyle; grandchildren, Darcy, Derek, Natalie and Dara; sister, Suzanne Stanley of Garland. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron DeGrand on January 17, 2006.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2006, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family request memorial contributions made to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or to any organization of donors choice.
