Charles W. Danford, age 86, of Lewisville, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2007, in Lewisville.
He was born May 28, 1921 in San Angelo, Texas to Charles and Fannie Milstead Danford. Charles served in the United States Navy during World War II. He married
Frances Nettles on March 17, 1943 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a member of
Midway Baptist Church in Waco and worked as an insurance agent with State Farm Insurance for 45 years and was an agency manager in Waco for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Frances; daughter, Shirley Danford of Lewisville; sons,
Gerald Danford of Flower Mound and James Danford of Lewisville; five grandchildren,
Three great grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Danford of Horseshoe Bay, Texas and
Patricia Cook of Lubbock, Texas and brother, Joe Johnson of Beaver Creek, Ohio.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2007, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville. The family will receive friends prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Northview Baptist Church Building Fund.
