Charles Rodney "Chris" Sandlin, 67, of Garland, TX, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Baylor Hospital of Garland. He was born June 26, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to John Benjamin and Ruth (Weathers) Sandlin. He was a retired salesperson in retail sales, and a member of the Outreach Christian Church.
Mr. Sandlin is survived by his mother, Ruth Sandlin of Dallas; five daughters, Brigett Chasteen of Comanche, OK, Wendy Michelle Griffith of Sparks, NV, Regan Nicole Clements of Matheson, CO, Cloie Christine Sandlin and Kassie Gabriel Sandlin of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Steven Marc Sandlin.
A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 1 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Restland Memorial Park on Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX with Dr. Charles Williamson officiating. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, TX is in charge of arrangements.
