Charles William Borth, 91 of Krum, TX passed away on December 10, 2015 at Denton Regional Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1924 in Denton County, TX to Herman and Annie Katherine (Ford) Borth. He was a graduate of Krum High School. He served in the US Army during WWII and received a Purple Heart. He was married to Enid Bratcher on January 29, 1984 in Whitesboro, TX and she passed away on November 17, 2008. He was a self employed farmer and rancher. He enjoyed playing with musical groups.
Mr. Borth is survived by his step daughter, Jan Dane and husband Ray of Pilot Point, two brothers, W. R. (Nickie) Borth and Myron Borth, both of Krum. several nieces and nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by parents, and three brothers, Roland Borth, Aaron Borth, and Jerome Borth.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust Denton followed by a Graveside service on Monday December 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Roselawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Buddy Owens, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice.
