Charlene Yount, 84, of Denton, died Friday, March 29, 2013 in Denton.
Mrs. Yount was born on May 7, 1928 in Argyle to Lee Arthur and Chrystal Beatrice (Wood) Madewell. She was married to Asa Yount on October 17, 1947 in Fort Worth, he died on November 10, 2008. She was a homemaker and worked as a telephone operator for several years.
Mrs. Yount is survived by her daughter, Sharlet Yvonne Holamon of Denton; son Gary Waymon Yount of Willis; grandchildren, Hallie Yvonne Holamon, Asa Tanner Holamon, Kathleen Taylor Yount, and Garrett Wells Yount.
Visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Chaplain James Clinkscales will officiate the service.
