Carolyn Sue Standifer was born on April 27, 1947 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Evelyn Earlene Smith and Mark Washington Judge. She went to the loving arms of our Lord on April 28, 2016 at the age of 69. Carolyn is survived by her daughter Robin Claytor and her husband Bobby of Krum, Texas; daughter Melissa Walker and her husband Brent of Forestburg, Texas; daughter Sandra Hensley and her husband Jeff of Sanger, Texas; and son Scott Brown and his wife Tricia of Mabank, Texas; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Waymon (Buddy) Standifer; her granddaughter, Jessica Brown; and brothers, Dale Judge; Wayne Judge; Adrian Judge, and Dwight Judge. Carolyn was a very loving and giving person who loved the outdoors and her family. She will be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 at 6:30 in the evening at Denton Funeral Home,120 South Carroll Blvd, Denton, Texas. Pastor Gary Sweatman will be officiating.
