Carolyn Kay McBride, 70, of Denton passed away peacefully on November 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born in Glenwood, Colorado on February 26, 1952 the daughter of Robert and Phylamae  Horn.

Carolyn worked at Russell Newman Manufacturing for over 25 years. She loved her family and was very compassionate and selfless. She was always putting others ahead of herself. She liked doing embroidery, reading and fishing on occasion with her husband Jerry. She always looked forward to family gatherings and meals.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Jerry. She is also survived by her son Jimmy Lee McBride of Denton and her daughter Linda Jo Nabors of Sanger. She also is survived by three sisters, Sharon Bates, Irma Starr, Kathy VanHoose along with one brother Kenny Horn. Carolyn also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers Robert Horn Jr, and Lloyd Horn Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at 10:00am at Mulkey-Bowles-Montgomery Funeral Home in Denton with a visitation Monday night from 6-8pm. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Denton, TX.
