Carolyn Blanton was born in Nocona Tx, on May 17, 1938, in her family home to

Lillian Nell Wilcox and William Jennings Bryan Reed.

Carolyn lived in Nocona, Lewisville, and Hickory Creek Texas. She was married on

February 9, 1958, to her husband Marvin Lee Blanton Jr in Ardmore Oklahoma.

She had three sons: Marvin (Marty) Lee Blanton III, Bryan Keith Blanton (stillborn),

and Steven Dale Blanton.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, her son Steve, her son Marty and his wife.

Debbie. She is also survived by her twin sister, Marolyn Sue Reed Lewis; her.

brother Billy Ray Reed; her brother Roger Dale Reed; her granddaughter Morgan

Rene Blanton; and her grandson Hunter Reed Blanton.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Bryan Reed, her.

brother Raymond Harold Reed, her sister Frances Reed Skinner, and her stillborn

son Bryan Keith Blanton.

Carolyn adored her sons. She especially enjoyed being "room mother" for both

boys in their school years through graduation. Carolyn had immense love for her

grandchildren, Morgan, and Hunter. She was very excited to be a great

grandmother. Carolyn really loved wildlife, plants, birds, and flowers. She was

particularly fond of dragonflies.
