Carol Meyers, 68, of Denton, died Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Denton.
Mrs. Meyers was born on December 7, 1944 in Abilene, TX to Sterling and Frances (Fitzgerald) Kendrick. She worked as a paralegal for several years and retired as an Administrative Assistant at Texas Woman's University. She was married to Charles Meyers on February 14, 1983 in Denton. She was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Denton.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Meyers of Denton; daughter, Janice L. Howe of Denton; step-daughter, Cheryl Early of Denton; step-son, Charles Meyers, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Dolores Hayes of Plano; brothers, Kerry Kendrick of Corinth, David Kendrick of Bowie; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling and Frances as well as a stepson, Thomas Meyers.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Roselawn Memorial Park. Rev. John Lindsay will officiate the service.
