Carol Biggs 92 formally of Krum, Denton and Sanger passed away Sunday July 12th. She was born Dec. 23, 1933 in Los Angeles Ca. and spent her youth in Utah and finally ended up in Texas. Carol retired from Jostens. She was an avid sower and quilt maker. Her life was spent in service to her family, her savior and to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served two full time missions. One to California and later to Alaska. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Sam Briggs, her parents, 6 siblings and two grandsons. Carol is survived by daughter Linda Shumate and son in law Brad of Sanger, son Sammy Briggs and his wife Yvonne of Denton, daughter Cathy Gatlin of wherever her van takes her, son Kenneth of Gun Barrel city, son Jerry Briggs and wife Stacie of Sanger and son Brian Briggs and wife Christine of Thousand Oaks CA. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren,31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
