Carmen de Le Franc, age 93, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society-Denton Village. She was born December 21, 1917 in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua to Carlos Rivers Delgadillo and Concepcion Rosales de Rivers. She worked as a fashion designer.

On Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. there will be a memorial service at the Chapel of the Good Samaritan Village--Denton, 2500 Hinkle Drive, Denton, Texas 76201, and graciously officiated by the Rev. Bill Bennett and Rev. Don Price.

Instead of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be given in memory of Carmen for the "GOOD SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE RESTORATION PROJECT" and sent to Katrina McPherson, 2500 Hinkle Drive, Denton, Texas 76201. Her ashes will be taken in late June/early July and scattered in the San Francisco Bay.

Carmen is survived by daughter, Ileana Place and husband, Elmer of Denton; son, Felipe LeFranc and wife, Ligia of Glendale, CA; her sister, Miriam Rivers de Timosi and brother, Orlando Rivers; grandson, Don Place and wife Charlotte and their children, Stephen and Nathan, all of Denton; grandson, Ken Place of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Kathy Lee and husband, Donald and their children, Austin and Amanda, all of Houston, TX; grandson, David Place and daughter, Laura of Columbia, MD; grandson, Tito LeFranc, Jr. and family; grandson, Ricardo LeFranc and family; and granddaughter, Carmen LeFranc and husband of San Francisco, CA.
