Obituary
Carlos Weldon Brown, 93, of Sanger, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth.
Mr. Brown was born on August 12, 1917 in Deport, TX to Romie and Mell Grant Brown. He served during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a self employed building contractor. He was married to Marguerite Laverne Corbin on May 14, 1942 in Marietta, OK (she died April 30, 2008).
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday August 27, 2010 in the chapel of Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Rev. Buddy Owens will officiate the service.
He is survived by his son, Todd Brown of Sanger; grandson, Braden Brown of Lubbock; sister-in-law, Barbara Corbin of Gainesville.
