Butler Chase Thompson, 29, slipped quietly into Heaven Tuesday, October 9, 2007. He was born September 22, 1978 to Gene and Regina (Ross) Thompson in Arlington, Texas.
He attended schools in May and Denton and received a degree from NTCC in Para medicine. For several years he worked for the city of Denton in water production, holding numerous certifications. At his death, Chase was employed by Polypipe in Gainesville. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Chase is survived by his parents, sister Ashley Brown and husband Stephen of Aubrey, beloved niece Tess, fiancé Kristi Cooper, grandmother Veda Thompson of Blanket, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Nathan and Nelda Ross and L. W. Thompson, as well as his infant brother Ross and his beloved great grandmother Myrl "MaMa" Ross.
We are indebted to our Lord and Savior for the time He allowed us to have "Upper Chase"/ The footprints of his life will forever be imprinted by our hearts. We will miss him and his smile until we are with his again. We love you!Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 13, 2007 in the Chapel at Mulkey-Mason, Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton, Rev. Dale Osteen will officiate.
