Buell "Rodger" Chadd, age 78, of Denton, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at The Atrium Medical Center in Corinth with his wife and children at his bed side.
He was born on January 1, 1934 in McPherson, Kansas. Rodger married his wife Jann, on March 17, 1984. They celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary this month.
Rodger is survived by his wife Jann; children Dennis Chadd, Lisa Beijan, and Jim McBride; his sister Mary Schrag and husband Ray; his grandchildren Bianca, Katie, Andrew, James, Joshua, Emma, and Ezra; and one great granddaughter.

A Celebration of Rodger's Life will be held at 4pm Sunday, April 1, 2012 at South Lakes Park in Denton, Pavilion 1. The park is located at 556 Hobson Lane, Denton, TX 76205. Children and dogs are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Texas SPCA or Salvation Army of Denton. Papa wanted donations to go to animal shelters or people shelters.
