Bryan Johnston Rothlein, age 43, beloved husband of Erin Rothlein (nee Evans) for 11 years, passed away peacefully in Dallas, TX on November 11, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  Bryan was born and raised in Tulsa, OK where he grew up riding and caring for horses.  He later went on to attend the Oklahoma State University-College of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduating he went on to practice veterinary medicine in Florida at a small animal clinic.  Most recently, Bryan loved working for IDEXX for the past 6 years and cherished those he met there.  In 2007, he met his amazing wife, Erin and together they had 2 beautiful children, Emma (8) and Will (5).  In February of 2020 Bryan and Erin moved their family to Lantana, Texas to be closer to family.

Bryan fought the most courageous battle against his congenital heart disease and always lived life to the fullest.  His sense of humor was unmatched and shown through until the very end, as he kept us laughing until his final moments.   After nearly a month long battle, Bryan finally succumbed to a random blood infection.  In the end, his amazing heart gave him 43 years of a rich, full and beautiful life.  Bryan will be missed by all the lives he touched.

Bryan's family wants to send a special thank you to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where Bryan received amazing care throughout his life.  He had the honor of being cared for by Dr. Sam Asirvatham, Dr. David Driscoll, and Dr. Crystal Bonnichsen.  We would also like to give our thanks to the wonderful care Bryan received while at UT Southwestern in Dallas, especially the amazing staff on the CV ICU floor.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle, TX on Friday November 19th at 10:00 AM.  A reception/birthday party for Bryan will be held immediately following the ceremony at his sister Megan and brother-in-law Mike's home in Denton, TX.

A second funeral service will be held in Cleveland, OH at a later date, TBD.
