Brenda Hill Salas Padilla went to be with the Lord on January 11th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 58 years old. Born on June 9, 1955 in New Orleans. She was the youngest of three children born to Robert and Alice Mae Hill. She worked at Denton Nursing home as a file clerk for 8 years. She was later employed by Harpool Seed Co until it closed. She continued to work for First State Bank as a Collections Officer until 2000. She was currently employed by FEMA.
She was married to Daniel Salas for 32 years until 2005. Her marriage to Daniel Salas blessed her with four children Danny, Anthony, Janie, and Jake Salas. The family will be at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm for Visitation. A Service will be Thursday at 11:00 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by both parents and her brother, George Douglas Hill. She is survived by her husband, Arturo Padilla and one step-son, her brother, Robert Earl Hill and his wife Janet, a daughter in law, and 10 grandchildren.
