Brandy Muhlnickel Pienkoss passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the age of 35, surrounded by family and friends. Brandy was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, but grew up in Lake Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband Karl Pienkoss, mother Kathryn Spence, father Steven Muhlnickel, brother Jeremy Spence, grandparents Jean and James McLain, along with two nephews, much loved aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Brandy was a person who gave more of herself than she ever took. She never hesitated to help others, despite the cost to herself. Her love for others extended to animals in need and she spent a great deal of time and energy volunteering at the animal shelter, ensuring that at-risk animals were given a chance at happiness.

She inspired others to try new things and expand their horizons. Brandy always lived life to the fullest. Her charm and wit brought joy to all who met her. She shared her warmth, her life and her happiness with everyone around her.
