Obituary

Brad King, of Carrollton,  passed away suddenly Friday, March 28, 2008 in his sleep.  He will will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  Brad was born October 24, 1949 in Albany, New York to Norman King and Betty Jane Southwell.  He was an account executive for Blanchard and Company, the largest and most respected retail dealer of rare coins and precious metals in the United States.  Brad loved his family and loved his church and was very successful in his career.  Brad is survived by his wife, Teresa King of Carrollton; his daughter, Katherine King of Austin; sons, Nicholas King of Hollywood California, Peter Bradford also of Hollywood, California and Jack Southwell King of Carrollton; sister, Daryl King and her husband, Albert Bradt of Delmar, New York, and his mother, Betty Jane Southwell of Carrollton.  Brad was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War and a proud and dedicated member of Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Lewisville.  A rosary will be read Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 3:00pm to 3:30pm followed by a sharing of memories from 3:30pm to 4:00pm and general visitation from 4pm to 5pm.  A funeral mass will be held at 1:30pm, Monday, March 31, 2008 at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church in Lewisville.
