Bobby Delano Harp age 74 of Denton passed away Wednesday December 23, 2009 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1935 in Cross Roads to Jessie James and Ascha (Nation) Harp. He married Eva Loretta Hensley in Denton on July 2, 1966. Bobby was a Baptist and a Truck Driver.
He is survived by his wife Eva of Denton, daughters Patty Stevens of Carrollton, and Vickie Dunham of Denton. Sons Johnny Harp of Gainesville, Mike Harp of Krum, Dale Thompson of Denton and Gregory Thompson of Denton. Sisters Fern Lee of Krum, Echo Dewberry of Greenville, and Alice Dewberry of Sanger. 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sheila Thompson and brother A.W. Harp.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday December 28, 2009 at the Mulley-Mason Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Little Elm Cemetery, Little Elm, Texas. Bro. Dewayne Dawson will conduct the service. Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Sunday December 27, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Harp, Wesley Harp, Dale Dunham, Bobby Dunham, Paul Dobbs, and Mark Gall. Honorary Pallbearers are Raymond Pittsinger and Jimmy Dunham.
