Bobby Gene George, 67 of Gainesville, died Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born December 6, 1937 in Denton County, to John Newton and Lucille (Erwin) George. He attended Sanger Schools. He was married to Bonnie Jean Drake on May 14, 1981 in Gainesville. He was employed as a Plumbing and Air Conditioning Technician.. He was a member of the Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, August 20, 2005 in the Gribble Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnny George and Rev.Tommy Sanders, officiating. Burial will follow in the Gribble Springs Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. Friday, August 19, 2005 for visitation. Mr. George is survived by his wife of Gainesville, six daughters, Tammy George and Kelly Bell of Denton, Lacy West, Raquel Brogdon, and Savhanna George, of Gainesville, and Rachelle Drake, of Tennessee, son Randall Drake, of Gainesville, four sisters, Johnie Mae Meador, of Carrollton, Mary Boyd, Margaret Jones, and Ruthie Bryson, of Sanger, and four brothers, Kenneth George, Sid George, DeWayne George, and Billy Wayne George, of Sanger. Twoelve Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Rosie George, Joe George, and Arthur N. George.
