Bobbie Marie Keeler, 97 of Van Alstyne, TX passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at home. She was born August 8, 1915 in Farmersville, TX to Samuel H. and Lela Belle (Gilbert) Vandeventer. She was married to Garland Cecil Keeler on March 23, 1935 in Denton, and he passed away on August 29, 2001. She was a member of the Baptist Church and worked for Texas Women's University.
Mrs. Keeler is survived by a daughter, Glenda Ann McMakin of Van Alstyne and son Richard Darwin Keeler of Godley, Five Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, with Rev. Griff Servati, officiating.
